Ayesha Elizabeth Ghaoul, born in Sutton, UK, in 1994, is a visual artist whose practice is defined by an openness to diverse techniques, allowing each project to determine its own materials and methods. Through her projects, she probes the fragility of safety, the complex landscape of memories, and the layered narratives embedded in everyday objects and experiences.
Ghaoul integrates playfulness and imagination, treating art as an ongoing dialogue. Her work aims to balance introspection with resonance, creating works that convey both intimacy and universality.
She holds a BA from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and an MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied at the School of Conceptual and Contextual Practices until 2023.
